FAYETTEVILLE — On a muggy night full of sloppy play and sweaty patrons, Nick Miller shined. The North Cobb wide receiver slipped past defenders for 151 yards of total offense including an electric 68 yard touchdown run in the Warriors 42-3 win Friday at Starr’s Mill.
“He did make plays every time he touched the ball tonight,” said North Cobb coach Shane Queen. “I thought he scored on that one run.”
Queen was referring to a screen pass that Miller ran down the sidelines for a 40-yard gain. The senior who’s been offered a scholarship by Air Force thought he had broke one as well.
“I thought that I had scored on that one,” Miller said.
“When I don’t score, (I think) it’s a missed opportunity.”
